Vente

Vente

Vente was a mock project designed during my time at Designation. It was completed over a span of 3 weeks. Our brief stated that we were to create a logo, new branding, a native mobile app design, and a marketing site for an events app. Users want to stay up to date and in the know but are overwhelmed by too many options and don’t have enough time to explore all options.

Native mobile app design

I kept the color palette of the overall design neutral, with different shades of grey and lots of white. I wanted the design to have a simple airy element to it to not be distracting and confusing with all the different offered events. But I wanted to still attract the user by adding the bright green for call to action buttons and to indicate active status. I also used an inky texture to bring some depth and interest to the design to keep it interesting and not so flat.

Marketing site

In carrying through the concept I also designed a marketing site to promote the app and help convert new visitors into users. I still wanted to keep with the same neutral palette but incorporate some interesting elements to draw users in.

As soon as the user scrolls down to the second screen, there is a guideline of how easy and quick it is to use the app and a video to showcase all the different events Vente offers. The clear 1, 2, 3 is glanceable for the user and helps guide them digest the information quickly while also guiding them to sign up and download the app.
